MEET THE TEAM

Ricky Rigor CEO of Holistic Support Services

RICKY RIGOR - CEO

The CEO and Co-Director of Holistic Support Services. Ricky brings 13 years of business experience, as well as a passion for creating a service that assists patients with disabilities to receive the specialised care in the comfort of their home. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Western Sydney University as well as Registered Tax Agent graduating in 2008. Whilst studying, Ricky secured an internship at Williams Courtman & Co for 18 months, where he was able to gain valuable experience at the Penrith based accounting firm. Following his graduation from his degree, Ricky worked as the in-house company accountant at Bryden’s Lawyers, where he was responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance for the ATO and Law Society, executing business analysis, managing budgets, managing the accounting system and ensuring system integrity. Ricky is an Associate Member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA). Currently he works for BRP Advisory specialising in small business accounting and taxation, where he manages his own portfolio of clients ranging from sole traders to companies, trusts and Self Managed Super Funds. He also has a passion for karate, holding his 4th Dan Black Belt in Shito-Ryu and his 3rd Dan Black Belt in Shotokan. Ricky was proudly appointed as the Head Kata Coach of the NSW Karate Federation, and the Assistant National Kata Coach for the Australian Karate Federation.

Rowena Rey - Practice Manager of Holistic Support Services

ROWENA REY - PRACTICE MANAGER

The Practice Manager and Co-Director of Holistic Support Services. Rowena brings a wealth of practical experience in the field of palliative care nursing to Holistic Support Services, and is looking forward to providing an NDIS approved service to patients in need of in-home care. She studied a Bachelor of Science majoring in Nursing at Arellano University in Manila, Philippines, graduating from her degree in 2006. She passed the Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination the same year, and began her nursing career in 2008 when she began working as a casual Assistant Nurse at St Joseph’s Hospital in Auburn. Rowena furthered her education when she completed a Bachelor of Nursing from Australian Catholic College (ACU) in 2010. She continued to work as a casual nurse at St Joseph’s Hospital, which is a sub-acute hospital that specialises in Medical Rehabilitation, Geriatric Rehabilitation, Palliative Care, Geriatric Psychiatry and Huntington’s Disease. By May of 2012, she commenced working full time in the Palliative Care Unit of St Joseph’s Hospital. Rowena went on to complete Post Graduate studies in Nursing, achieving a Post Graduate Certificate in Aged Care from the University of Tasmania.
