Last November 22nd, we gathered at the Lone Pine Tavern for an unforgettable year-end party. The event was a resounding success, bringing together our incredible community to close out the year on a high note.
The day was packed with highlights, from heartfelt conversations to moments of pure fun. It wasn’t just a celebration of the holiday season—it was a celebration of the friendships, achievements, and shared experiences that make us stronger together.
Of course, no party would be complete without some friendly competition, and our games brought out the holiday spirit in full force:
Guess the Number of Paper Clips had us scratching our heads, but it was Margaret Clack’s sharp estimation that sealed the win.
The Christmas Word Search tested our love for holiday-themed words, with Carolina Taylor proving she was the queen of quick thinking.
And in the lively Guess the Song Title, Carolina Taylor struck gold again, recognising the tunes faster than anyone else!
Lastly, Christmas Bingo had everyone eagerly marking their cards, and after some
intense rounds, Cesar Diaz and Thomas Buchan emerged victorious.
Beyond the games, it was the little moments that made the day truly special—friends reconnecting, support coordinators and participants sharing stories, and everyone revelling in the joy of simply being together. The event captured the essence of connection, reminding us of the strength we find in each other.
